Planning a youth group can be stressful, especially when you’re juggling tight schedules and last-minute changes. That’s why Four Corners Trivia is the perfect solution for your next gathering. This no-prep game is easy to organize, works for groups of any size, and guarantees tons of laughter and energy.

What Is Four Corners Trivia?

Four Corners Trivia is a movement-based game that combines trivia knowledge with a fun twist. Players answer multiple-choice questions by moving to different corners of the room, each representing an answer. It’s simple, engaging, and gets everyone involved—no sitting on the sidelines here!

Why Youth Leaders Love This Game

  • No Prep Required: No supplies, no stress—just bring your questions and your group!
  • Flexible: Works with any size group, from small gatherings to large youth events.
  • Customizable: You can tailor the questions to your group’s interests, whether that’s Bible trivia, pop culture, or general knowledge.
  • High Energy: Kids stay active and engaged throughout the game.

How to Play Four Corners Trivia

  1. Set Up the Room: Designate four corners of your meeting space as Corners 1, 2, 3, and 4. You can add signs or just explain the layout.
  2. Explain the Rules: Read a multiple-choice trivia question out loud. Each answer corresponds to one of the four corners.
  3. Let Players Choose: Participants move to the corner they think represents the correct answer.
  4. Reveal the Answer: Share the correct answer. Players in the wrong corner can either be eliminated (for competitive groups) or stay in for more fun.
  5. Repeat: Continue asking questions until only one person remains, or play for a set time limit and keep score!

Youth Leader Game Explanation Script

“Alright everyone, we’re going to play a game calledFour Corners Trivia! It’s super simple, and you don’t need any equipment. Here’s how it works:

  • I’ve divided the room into four corners. Each corner represents one answer choice: Corner 1, Corner 2, Corner 3, and Corner 4. I’ll point out which corner is which before we start.
  • I’m going to ask a trivia question with four possible answers. Each answer will match a specific corner. For example, Corner 1 might beA,Corner 2 might beB,and so on.
  • After I read the question, you’ll move to the corner of the room that you think is the correct answer. Take your time, but don’t overthink it—you have to pick a corner before I count down from five!
  • Once everyone has picked a corner, I’ll reveal the correct answer. If you’re in the wrong corner, you’re out for that round. If you want, you can cheer on the others or join back in after three rounds.
  • We’ll keep playing until we have one person left—or as many rounds as time allows.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Stay in your corner once you’ve chosen! No last-minute switches.
  • Make sure you’re paying attention—some of the questions are tricky!
  • Most importantly, have fun. This game is all about moving, laughing, and learning together.

Alright, let’s get started!”

Pro Tips for Four Corners Trivia

  • Use Variety: Alternate between Bible, pop culture, and funny questions to keep players on their toes.
  • Add a Theme: Consider theming the game around a specific topic, like a Bible story, a holiday, or a youth group retreat.
  • Encourage Movement: If your group is competitive, add fun consequences for wrong answers (e.g., a silly dance or reciting a Bible verse).

Four Corners Trivia isn’t just about having fun—it’s also a great way to foster connection and engagement. Youth will learn, laugh, and bond while diving into trivia that spans their interests. Plus, it’s a fantastic icebreaker for new members or a perfect pick-me-up after a lesson.
